About Me

First off, I'd like to thank you for being here. I'm a yoga instructor and blogger from Vancouver, Canada. If I'm not teaching yoga, you'll find me either at an aesthetic vegan café or with my sweet rescue dog. 

I completed my Yoga Teacher Training with Oxygen Yoga & Fitness in 2015, right after graduating from Capilano University with a Bachelor of Communication Studies. Since then, I've been teaching yoga, building my online presence and traveling. My partner and I lived in Melbourne, Australia for 1 year. We returned home to Vancouver in February of 2020 and a few months later we adopted our dog, Shiloh.










My yoga teaching style is heart led and flowy. I like to move and feel along with the music, while offering different variations and alignment ques. My experience includes Flow, Power, Relaxation and Guided Meditation. All are welcome in my classes, whether you're a seasoned yogi or a newbie, there will be plenty for you in my class. I'm a huge advocate for leaning into what feels good and practicing self-care, which extends beyond the yoga mat. Living a life that is in alignment with my values is very important to me and I aim to spread that same passion to my students and those around me.

In 2018, I started to take my online presence more seriously. I saw it as an opportunity to grow my business as a yoga instructor, and as a way to connect with likeminded individuals. I started to grow my Instagram and eventually it evolved into @yogini.taylor. Eventually I started this blog and have since branched out to Pinterest, YouTube and most recently - TikTok. I love the community I've connected with online and I have so much fun creating fun and engaging content. I've worked with some amazing brands and learned so much along the way. As a passionate vegan, I thoroughly enjoy a good plant-based meal. There are many reasons to go vegan, but I am vegan for the animals. I love sharing my vegan journey and all the delicious meals I have had the opportunity to try. Some right here in Vancouver, and others while traveling. I've documented my journey on my vegan Instagram page, @myplantifulplate. I like to share how easy, fun and healthy it is to be vegan and plant-based, even while traveling and dining out.
