As a huge fan and longtime listener of The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Podcast, you know I had to get my hands on one of The Skinny Confidential Hot Mess Ice Rollers. Lauryn's passion for taking care of lymphatic health has really inspired me, as I myself, have struggled with lymphedema and poor circulation.

From the branding down to the small details of this ice roller, you can tell that a lot of thought and intention went into the design. Not only is the roller an aesthetically pleasing item to have on your bathroom counter, it's extremely functional. As the roller itself is made of aluminum, it stays colder much longer than other ice rollers. It's rather heavy and feels very high-quality when you hold it in your hand. The handle is made of silicone, so it's nice and smooth. There's also a small textured spot to place your thumb so that you can roll with your desired pressure.

While I purchased this roller with the intention of using it to de-puff my face, I actually use it on my body much more than I thought I would. My feet tend to get swollen fairly easily, and the ice roller feels amazing and provides excellent relief to my feet and calves when I ice roll at the end of a long day. Of course, I also love using the ice roller to de-puff my face in the morning after applying my serums. Ice rolling on your face is also great for boosting circulation and helps to shrink your pores.

To prep my face before I ice roll, I always wash my face and make sure I have some kind of oil or serum on my skin so that it can roll nice and smoothly. About once every two weeks, I'll use the Hot Shave Razor to shave the peach fuzz off of my face. Ice rolling after shaving your peach fuzz feels unreal and so soothing. My personal favourite time to use the Hot Mess Ice Roller is when I have a sheet mask on. Applying the sheet mask and ice rolling over it feels fantastic on the skin. It's so cooling and makes your at-home skincare feel a little more luxe.

*Quick Tip you can also run the roller underneath hot water to warm it up. It holds heat quite well and feels amazing if you're body is needing some heat (think heating pack!)

I wash my ice roller after each use. To clean my Hot Mess Ice Roller, I use soap and a face cloth to get around the edges. Then I simply rinse it off with water and lay it flat to dry on a clean towel. I've also had my ice roller squeak before, to which I simply added a few drops of oil to the hinges after cleaning. This seemed to get rid the squeaking. You can also get the cutest little Sleeping Bag for your ice roller to keep it clean and keep it cold - perfect if you're taking it along on a travel day. I haven't had the chance to travel with mine yet, but it will definitely be coming with me on my next trip!

Overall, I love my Hot Mess Ice Roller and I do think it is worth the price. Competitors are not nearly as hefty or as high quality. The roller holds temperature for a solid amount of time, it's easy to clean, and the benefits are AMAZE! If you have any questions about the Hot Mess Ice Roller, leave them in the comments below.

Wishing you a beautiful day ahead,
